Following the 2016 election, the Voter Study Group commissioned the 2016 VOTER Survey (Views of the Electorate Research Survey), which interviewed 8,000 Americans in December 2016 who had been previously interviewed both in 2011-2012 and in July 2016, allowing for a unique longitudinal analysis.
Individual Voter Study Group members penned the group’s first four reports below based on the VOTER Survey data. Each individual report represents the views of the signed author and not the larger study group. Throughout this year, we will release the full data set, as well as additional reports from other authors on this and future surveys.
