On July 17, New America hosted a panel discussion in which Voter Study Group participant Lee Drutman (New America) and Jocelyn Kiley (Pew Research Center) presented findings from their respective reports on trends in American commitment to democracy. The two then joined Perry Bacon, Jr.(FiveThirtyEight), and other Voter Study Group participants Henry Olsen (EPPC) and Vanessa Williamson (Brookings Institution) in a panel discussion that broached the data from a variety of historical, demographic, and political angles.
