This Terms of Use Agreement (this “Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or entity) and Democracy Fund, Inc., for use of the Site and the Site Content. By using or accessing the Site, you agree to be bound by and a party to this Agreement.

The Site is intended for individuals 13 years of age or older. By using or accessing the Site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are not at least 13 years of age or do not agree with the terms of this Agreement, do not use or access the Site.

The Site is for general informational purposes only, and may not be up-to-date, accurate or complete. The Site contains information regarding Democracy Fund, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively, “DF”). The Site may also contain information regarding organizations to which DF has provided grant funding (“Grantees”). You acknowledge and agree that DF is not responsible or liable for: (i) the availability or accuracy of any Site Content, whether provided by DF or third parties; (ii) the content, advertising, products or services on or available from third parties whether through embedded modules, linked websites or otherwise; or (iii) the terms of use or privacy policy governing use of any embedded modules or linked websites. The inclusion of any information, embedded service or link through the Site does not imply that DF endorses the information, embedded service or linked website. DF assumes no responsibility for the content provided through the Site or of such other third party service providers or websites and will not be liable for any damages or injury arising from your use or reliance upon such content or your access to, or inability to access, such information, services or websites. Before you act on information you’ve found on our Site, you should independently confirm any facts that are important to your decision. You use the information, services and links at your own risk.

DF does not and cannot review all materials posted to the Site by its users, and DF is not responsible for any such materials posted by users. DF reserves the right at all times to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, that in DF’s sole discretion are objectionable or in violation of this Agreement.

DF may change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site at any time, including the availability of any Site Content. DF may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to all or part of the Site without notice or liability.

2. RIGHT TO USE.

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, DF grants you the right to use the Site and the Site Content, in accordance with this Agreement. Please see the Copyright Notice posted on the Site and incorporated by reference herein for information regarding any additional license rights to Site Content. Any rights not expressly granted herein or in the Copyright Notice are reserved by DF and its third party licensors. Notwithstanding the foregoing, DF reserves the right to limit the availability of the Site and the Site Content to any person, group, geographic area or jurisdiction, at any time. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for compliance with any local laws.

The Site Content is protected by copyright as a collective work and compilation under U.S. copyright laws, international conventions, and other copyright laws. The Site Content is only for your personal, noncommercial use. All materials contained on the Site are protected by copyright and are owned or controlled by DF or the party credited as the provider of the content.
